VAGABOND NEWS
John G. Esposito, Editor FALL 2007
A MESSAGE FROM THE LEFT SEAT:
For those of you, who have not yet done so, please consider providing Frank Balogh with a copy of your bios for inclusion on our web site. It's the best way I can think of bringing your old friends up to date on your life after the squadron (other than attending our reunions, that is). Also, anyone with potential "Irving Glick" stories, please send them on to me.
Other than that, I just want to wish all my VPB-111/VP-21 brothers happy holidays and express the hope that you'll enjoy a wonderful new year. Donna wants me to pass on her best to all the spouses, as well.
Fair winds and following seas,
Bill

LOST MAVERICKS ROUNDED UP:
The following lost mavericks have now been rounded-up:

Paul D. Herman ATR2
Welcome back, guys.
SICK BAY:
No sick, lame, or lazy reported in this quarter.
FROM THE ON-LINE COORDINATOR:
There remain many squadron mates who undoubtedly have an Email or Snail Mail address but those squadron mates and their addresses, for whatever reason(s), are unknown to the association. Over the holidays, how about taking some time to print out a copy of the roster and the on-line directory and check your incoming Christmas and Chanukah cards to see if you receive either email or snail mail address information from a ""missing"" squadron mate. Send any new contact information along to either Dan Dwyer or Dale Woods, and they'll establish contact so as to ensure that the missing squadron mate gets included in the association's mailings. As a "fer instance, we've been looking for LT Mike Williams for seemingly years, and just recently had the good luck to find him due to the constant asking of, "Do you ever hear from Mike Williams?". . . and here it is, 39 years later, and we've finally found Mike!!!
Dan Dwyer
FROM THE RADIO COMPARTMENT:
Now that we have gone forward with the newsletter on line, it is more imperative than ever that you keep your snail mail address up to date. We send mailings for the reunions and other special occasions that do not go to the website first. Most of you have been very faithful in fulfilling this request. Please continue to do so. (It helps keep my roster straight so the left seat doesn't yell at me.)
Thanks,
Dale Woods

May God bless all of you.
